What All Charities Need to Know!

Free workshop demystifies the language of the CRA
and answers your charity questions

Compliance with the rules and requirements of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) may seem overwhelming; however disregarding these requirements can result in penalties, audits and even suspension or revocation of charitable status.

"This workshop should be a prerequisite for anyone engaged in charitable activity."
- Winnipeg, MB

This free full-day workshop is specifically geared towards charities, and is appropriate for volunteers, staff and board members alike. These sessions are also perfect for non profit groups considering applying for charitable status.

"I have acquired valuable information in regards to the CRA and will sit down with my financial advisor, treasurer, and board directors so that we all are confident and strongly agree in order to carry out our work effectively. I feel we all need to have this information and be on the same page to move forward in confidence to complete our receipting and reporting."
-Fort McMurray, AB

This interactive session simplifies the sometimes confusing information from the CRA, presenting key points in an easy to understand, interesting, and relevant format. Even the most knowledgeable participants will leave with new information.

"I find the CRA website quite confusing to use. This has been a God-send. They both took pretty 'dry' topics and presented it well and made it easy to listen to. Thanks."
- Strathmore, AB

More than 450 people have experienced this workshop presented by the enthusiastic BC Centre for Social Enterprise's Stacey Corriveau, and Canadian charities lawyer Richard Bridge.

"The presenters showed exceptional subject matter expertise and answered everyone's questions in a thorough manner. A fantastic use of my time". - Vancouver, BC
