Community Futures Fraser Fort George has a long history of providing business support to entrepreneurs in Prince George, Mackenzie, McBride, Valemount and the surrounding rural areas. We can assist business owners, or those considering becoming a small business owner, with attaining financing, creating a business plan, and accessing tools and resources for the different challenges and opportunities small business owners may face. We also offer business coaching and support.
Community Futures offer workshops and training on topics relevant to northern small business owners and entrepreneurs. These include marketing and advertising, social media, financial management and legal issues, among others. Check out our event calendar for upcoming offerings.
Additional training and support is available to eligible individuals through the provincially funded Self Employment Services. This program provides training, coaching, business plan assistance and financial support for individuals who are interested in pursuing self-employment.
We also have a business lending library with books covering a variety of topics, computers and a printer available for client use, video-conferencing equipment for meetings and we are a One-Stop Business Registry centre.
